NT 48 Paul is Shipwrecked

Reference: Acts 27-28:1-6

Story Summary:
In Jerusalem, some men were angry with Paul for sharing the good news of Jesus. They wanted to kill him, but before they could, he was arrested by some soldiers. While Paul waited in jail, Jesus appeared to him. He promised that Paul would one day share the good news in the city of Rome.
It was decided later that Paul and other prisoners should be taken to Rome on a sailing ship. God told Paul that their trip would be troublesome. Paul told the ship's commander that the trip was doomed, but he didn't listen and set sail.
Strong hurricane-like winds blew the ship. They set down their anchor and were stranded at sea for 14 days. God sent an angel to Paul. He told him that everyone on board would live, but the ship would be destroyed. Paul shared this news with those sailing with him, and told them to eat some food to keep up their strength.
Eventually, the boat began to break. The soldiers wanted to kill the prisoners, but the commander stopped them. He ordered them to swim to a nearby island or grab broken pieces of the ship and float to it.
When they reached the island, Paul was bitten by a poisonous snake, but God kept him from dying.
