Review Questions to Ask Throughout the Week
What was the name of the special meal Jesus and the disciples were celebrating? (The Passover)
What did Jesus do to show his disciples that he loved him? (Washed their feet)
Why did people need their feet washed back then? (They wore sandals/were barefoot. The roads were dirt.)

Jesus and the Children

Big Idea: Believe that Jesus can save you.

Verse: John 14:1 - Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. (ESV)

2. What did the parents want Jesus to do with the children? (Lay his hands on them and pray for them.)
3. What did the disciples do when the parents started bringing their children to Jesus? (They told them to stop.)

Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind

Passage: John 9:1-34

Big Idea: Tell others about Jesus.

Verse: Matthew 28:20 - Go therefore and make disciples of all nations... (ESV)

Story Review Questions

Who did Jesus meet as he was walking? (A blind man)
How long had the man been blind? (Since he was born.)
What did Jesus put on the man’s eyes? (Mud made from spit.)
What did Jesus tell the man to go do? (Wash off in a pool.)
What happened after the man washed off the mud? (He could see.)
What did the people who saw the blind man say? (Is that the same person who was blind?)
Was was the name of the group of people who asked the blind man questions? (The Pharisees)
When the Pharisees didn’t believe the man, who did they ask next? (The blind man’s parents)
