NT 46 Saul and Barnabas’ Missionary Journey

Reference: Acts 13-14

Story Summary:
As the church met together, the Holy Spirit spoke to them. He wanted Saul and Barnabas to travel from city to city and share the good news about Jesus. And so they set off from the city of Antioch.
Each place they went, they shared the news that Jesus had died for our sins and rose from the dead. They first headed to Seleucia. Then they sailed to Salamis, a city on an island. After that, they reached Paphos, where they were bothered by an evil magician. God, however, made the magician completely blind.
They continued to the cities of Perga and then Antioch (a different city from where they started). Some people there were angry that they were sharing the good news, so they threw them out of town. In the next city, Iconium, God gave them power to do miracles. Some angry people there tried to throw stones at them, but the two men escaped.
They travelled to Lystra, where God gave  them the power to heal a man who couldn't walk. But evil men came and threw stones at Saul. They thought they'd killed him, but Saul got up and walked right back into the city.

Big Idea and Motions: Share the good news all over the world.
